METRO RAILWAY ENHANCES TRAIN SERVICES ON BLUE AND GREEN LINES FROM 27th JULY, 2026 on experimental basis

Metro Railway enhances Services on Blue Line and Green Line to provide better connectivity and greater convenience to commuters. The revised timings and increased train services will come into effect from 27.07.2026 on experimental basis .

Revised Train Timings (Monday to Saturday)

Blue Line

– First train: 06:00 hrs (instead of 06:50 hrs)

– Last train: 22:30 hrs (instead of 21:44 hrs)

Green Line

– First train: 06:00 hrs (instead of 06:39 hrs)

– Last train: 22:30 hrs (instead of 22.05 hrs)

Increase in Train Services

Blue Line

– Weekdays (Monday to Friday): 272 services instead of 260

– Saturday: 258 services instead of 246

– Sunday: 158 services instead of 152

Green Line

– Weekdays (Monday to Friday): 236 services instead of 228

– Saturday: 212 services instead of 204

– Sunday: 111 services instead of 108

Sunday Services

On Sundays, train services on both the Blue Line and Green Line will be available from 09:00 hrs to 22:30 hrs.

These enhanced services have been introduced to improve passenger convenience by increasing the number of train services and providing earlier morning connectivity on weekdays and Saturdays. Metro Railway remains committed to providing safe, reliable and efficient services to its valued commuters.
